The old centre is a goldmine of cobbled alleyways, sunny plazas, museums and mansions and is crowned by a magnificent, golden-domed cathedral. All around, you'll find pale-sand beaches lined with bars and cafes - perfect for taking breathers from the sights. A warm, friendly atmosphere rules everywhere you go and at sundown, you'll have a great choice of entertainments from lively tapas bars and Andalucian restaurants to seductive flamenco clubs. And don't forget to explore further: just inland you'll find sleepy whitewashed villages and beautiful Jerez de la Frontera, famed for its sherries, flamenco and stunning equestrian shows.
