Plaza de Espana
Enjoy this elegant city. Seville brims with life, colour and historic highspots. On the cultural side there are impressive sights to explore including a cathedral - the cathedral's minaret was the culmination of Almohad architecture and served as a model for those at their imperial capitals of Rabat and Marrakesh. Seville is the epitome of Spain; fiery Flamenco, Moorish splendour, fragrant gardens, elegant plazas and much, much more. The City boasts a profusion of street cafes, tapas bars and nightclubs all giving it a truly sociable feel. Other attractions include superb shopping and markets for bargain hunters.
Head to the Giralda which is one of the most magnificent buildings in Seville and dominates the skyline. Make sure you make your way up the tower to the bell chamber for a remarkable view of the city, and equally remarkable, a glimpse of the Gothic details of the cathedral's buttresses and statuary. The most impressive of all is the tower's inner construction, series of 35 gently inclining ramps wide enough to allow the passage of two mounted guards.
