Upon arrival in Colombo you will transfer to Sigiriya the site of an ancient rock fortress and palace ruin, the following day the tour will then take you to Anuradhapura, the royal capital of 113 ancient kings and once the greatest monastic cities of the world. You will visit Polonnaru and take in the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, on climbing to the top you will enjoy breathtaking views of the stunning Sri Lankan countryside. You will finish the tour the following day with a visit to the Dambulla Rock Cave temples before proceeding to either Trincomalee or Negombo for a relaxing beach stay.
