7. Compensation

7.1 Our primary concern is to transport you to your destination safely and on time, but in the event of your Flight being delayed or cancelled, or that you are denied boarding due to over booking, Monarch is aware of and will comply with its obligations under the European legislation regarding your rights to compensation (Regulation (EC) 261/2004).

7.2 If, after you make a Flight Booking, we make a significant change to your Flight, which is not acceptable to you, and we are unable to book you on an alternate flight, which is acceptable to you, you will be entitled to a refund for the Fare, or the portion of the Fare as applicable, paid for that Flight.

7.3 For the purposes of clause 7.2 above, a “significant change” is a change made before departure which, taking account of the information you give us at the time your Booking is made and which we can reasonably be expected to know is likely to have a significant affect on your travel arrangements.
