Villa Gemma Introduction

Offering up beautiful countryside views over the mountains, everything you could need for a relaxing holiday is close at hand with shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. A leisurely twenty-minute walk also brings you the centre of Hisarounu, and a lovely scenic beach, a short drive away, also beckons.

Rising up in two storeys and attractively painted, it takes full advantage of the vistas, with balconies and terraces giving bird's-eye views over the countryside and mountains. Some of the best panoramas await in the top floor bedrooms - a twin and two double rooms all with balconies commanding glorious outlooks. Like its contemporary exterior, the villa interior is light, bright and modern with cream floor tiles and clean-lined furnishings dominating throughout. At its heart is the ground floor living space comprising of the sitting room, dining area and kitchen. The comfortable cosy sitting area boasts two red sofas and a fireplace, coupled with a TV and DVD player, and has doors to a spacious balcony where a table and chairs invite you to drink in the views over the pool. The adjoining dining area, meanwhile, flows into the kitchen where you will find a good supply of modern conveniences. The rest of the villa is styled in the same vein, and the fresh and welcoming bedrooms are decked out with air-conditioning to keep you suitably cool.

Outside, the pool and sunbathing terrace is a sublime suntrap and has plenty of space for topping up your tan, while a shaded veranda offers plenty of scope for lazy outdoor breakfasts and dinners. The finishing touch is a portable charcoal burner which provides even more reason to spend time outside enjoying the simple pleasures of feasting on home-cooked alfresco meals.
